Game Night on March 9, 2024, hosted by AHEPA Chapter 519, was attended by more than 110 guests. This eclipsed the prior attendance record by more than 30 people. The elegant dinner, cocktails, gaming and drawings provided an opportunity to socialize while raising nearly $7,000 in scholarships for deserving students in the Atlanta area.
The Chapter’s primary fundraiser takes months of preparation and time commitment form the brotherhood, and this year a true team effort was demonstrated in making the event a success. Thanks to everyone who sacrificed their time, talent and treasure to make Game Night possible.
The Chapter was also excited to have several honored guests in attendance. Father Panagiotis from Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church blessed the event and stayed to enjoy the excellent dinner. Also, several current and past officers of the AHEPA District One and AHEPA National chapters were in attendance: (1) John Shinas (past District One Govenor), (2) Harry Kipreos (past District One Govenor), (3) Steve Kipreos (current District One Warden), (4) Dale Greenstein (current District One Govenor), (5) Steve Nichols (past District One Govenor) and (6) Pete Nassos (past District One and Suprem Govenor).
