On July 14, Chapter 519 hosted coffee hour at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church and recognized the parish’s 16 scholarship recipients in 2024. The following students were recognized with some in attendance: Carmella Bruce, Evanthia Bilson, Peter Tiller III, Hailey Demakis, Nicholas Demakis, Arianna Maniatis, Marina Quinterno, Demetri Angelakos, Nicholas Angelakos, Stavroula Angelakos, Emily Paulson, Stephanie Paulson, Anastasia Buchan, Morgan Lilly, Michael Buchan and Yianni Costarides.

After the ceremony, AHEPA brothers hosted a coffee hour at church in celebration of these deserving students.
These scholarships are given in cooperation with the AHEPA Mother Lodge Chapter #1 Educational Fund. The Fund has issued over 1,000 scholarships amounting to $1.3 million dollars since its inception in 1986 to deserving students in Georgia. The Fund is currently half-way through its Four by Forty capital campaign which is aiming to raise its endowment to $4 million by its 40th anniversary in 2026. Educational Fund holds First Annual Celebration of Education
On June 22, 2024 the Fund held its first annual Celebration of Education to celebrate the 40 2024 scholarship recipients. The inaugural fund-raising event had over 170 people in attendance and raised over $50,000 towards its $4 million endowment target. Please plan to attend next year’s event in June 2025.
