From November 1-3, the brotherhood of Chapter 519 once again gathered for Cabin Fever in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Brother Kollias shared his home with everyone for the weekend, and 8 brothers were in attendance (Harry Kipreos, Steve Kipreos, Zack Kollias, Peter Tiller, Dennis Christopher, Dennis Koutouzis, Olen Bruce and Mike Jacobs). Oh, and let’s not forget Zack’s golden retrievers (Murphy and Addison).
The group arrived on Friday and enjoyed drinks on the porch and a wonderful pork or salmon dinner. On Saturday after sleeping in, a hearty French toast breakfast was followed by a myriad of activities: shooting, college football, fishing, hiking, deer sitings, steaks and of course poker. Yes, Brother Kollias did win again at the poker table, but nobody left with their pockets too empty.
On Sunday the brothers held a brief vesper service, had breakfast and headed home to be with their families. We look forward to seeing more brothers at Cabin Fever in 2025 (tentatively scheduled for Nov 7-9). Plenty of room for up to 15-20.
