Almost one hundred people gathered on February 21, 2026 to support Chapter 519’s annual Scholarship Game Night. Harry Kipreos and the kitchen team prepared a wonderful beef tenderloin and salmon complete meal, while Dennis Christopher and Andy Greene tended bar for all the guests.
After dinner, patrons of the event enjoyed several hours of gaming (craps, blackjack, and Roullet) after which a prize drawing with over 30 prizes was held. Grand prizes included: a 55″ TV, a surround sound system, a $300 shopping spree and two sets of Braves tickets. The annual 50/50 drawing concluded the night, and this year’s winner took home over $2,250.
The event raised over $5,000 in scholarship support that is donated to the AHEPA Chapter #1 Mother Lodge Educational Fund. During its thirteen years Game Night has contributed over $60,000 to the Fund, and the Fund, throughout its 40-year, history has issued more than $1,000,000 college scholarships to over 1,000 deserving students in the Atlanta Area.
Applications for entering college freshman, current college students or graduate students need to be submitted by March 15, 2026. Awards range from $1,000 – 3,000 and are both merit and need based.
